About Our Cardiologist…

The Cardiac Center of Texas was opened in 2003 by board certified cardiologist, Dr. M. Akram Khan. Dr. Khan has been practicing cardiology in the McKinney and Allen area since 1997. Dr. Khan served as the first Chief of Cardiology at the McKinney Medical Center and was instrumental in developing a separate cardiology section there in 1999. Dr. Khan was also the Chief of Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen in 2003. Currently, Dr. Khan serves as the Preventive Medicine Medical Director at The Medical Center of Plano.

Our office is located in McKinney off of I-75 and 121/Sam Rayburn tollway across from the Medical Center of McKinney in the Medical Arts Building. We provide convenient access to cardiovascular care to patients from all parts of Collin County including Plano, Frisco, Prosper, Celina, and Allen.
